Preschool Program

Our Preschool program is a perfect fit for children 2 1/2 - 4 years old.​​

Highlights:

  • Love for learning.

  • Age appropriate fine motor development through art, tracing, and manipulative activities.

  • Age appropriate gross motor development through outdoor activities like tricycles, jumping, hoping, and skipping.

  • Enhance vocabulary, sentence forming, and begin letter recognition through reading, singing, and one on one interactions.

  • Social and emotional development through group play, helping them recognize their emotions and feelings, conflict resolutions, etc.

Your child will be placed/moved up to the program that best suits their developmental needs.

Preschool Skills

Large Motor Skills

  • Runs well

  • Can jump and skip

  • Walk on tiptoes

  • Throw, catch, and kick a ball

  • Climbs onto and down play structure unassisted

  • Walk on balance beam

Small Motor Skills

  • Clapping hands to a beat

  • Enjoy finger play songs 

  • Build a tower of 10 or more blocks

  • Work large buttons and zippers

  • Begin using safety scissors

  • Paste objects onto a paper

  • Begin learning to hold a pencil/crayon properly

Academics and Arts

  • Able to sing Alphabet Song

  • Count at least to 30

  • Correctly name shapes and colors

  • Understand the idea of same and different

  • Enjoys creating and takes pride in artwork

  • Able to copy or repeat dance movements

Social and Interpersonal Skills

  • Participates in group activities (play, academics, classroom discussions, etc.)

  • Initiate and maintain communication with peers and adults

  • Identify and express feelings and emotions

  • Follow directions

Self Help Skills

  • Eating independently

  • Using toilet independently

  • Dressing independently 

  • Putting on/taking off own mask

  • Putting on shoes independently
